I officially started this blog in April 2020, as we all hunkered down, sheltering in place. Since I was spending more time in the kitchen, baking loaves of banana bread and Levain Bakery cookies, I needed a space to store my recipes so I could come back to them. That was all the motivation I needed to revisit the idea of a blog, yet again.

I’ve always wanted to have a little corner of the Internet full of my thoughts, ideas, and projects. Around this time last year, I actually secured a domain and got two blog posts up (republished here and here). But the traction didn’t stick. I got too caught up in the website design, instead of focusing on content. I also didn’t have a clear vision for my blog. I thought I would start a running blog to document my ultra journey (more on this in the future).

This time around, the blog is for me.

For me to index all the recipes I’ve tried so I don’t have to google it every time, or try to recall if I adjusted the sugar in the recipe.

For me to organize my thoughts. I think… a lot. This will be my space to structure these thoughts to hopefully provide value to you!

For me to share all the projects I’m working on. I have quite a few hobbies and I hope to create tutorials to teach others about my crafty interests.

For me to share my knowledge. So far, I have published my podcast notes for anyone to use as a guide. There’s so much more in this pipeline that I can’t wait to share. Book notes, personal finance tips, my real estate investing journey… these are just a few off the top of my head!

So after a few weeks of creating content (mostly food-related), I thought it was time for a proper blog post. I can say for certain now that the blog is live, thriving, and here to stay. I’m excited for what’s to come and I hope that you’ll join me on this journey.

Hello world!
