• Started taking Construction Management classes at CCSF

• CCSF classes ended and started interviewing for a new job

• Started a new job as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry
• Michigan trip to see D’s family

August / September

• Co-listed my first property!
• Quit my job
• Stopped interviewing and cancelled all existing processes

October / November

• Set an intention to prioritize me the rest of the year 💆🏻‍♀️
• Celebrated my birthday in pizza party fashion (again!)

Recap

The year of changes. 2023 was the start of a major shift in my life – one that is still ongoing that I am navigating through. From being laid off to making a decision to leave tech, building my own business in one of the roughest markets, pivoting to a new industry, starting and quitting a job within 3 months – my life has been turned upside down. Through it all, whether by choice or by circumstance, I was faced with my lifelong question: am I living true to myself? Certain societal pressures and my upbringing swayed me in one direction, and my dreams and passions swayed me in the other. This year, I took risks, challenged myself, got uncomfortable, and learned some lessons. I wish I could say I have it all figured out now, but the journey continues in 2024…
