The week before this flight was absolute chaos and very likely the most stressful time of my life. More to come on this in a future post, but it was such a relief to finally put that behind me. Originally, I had a flight scheduled for Sunday, Sep 13, but had to reschedule it due to house renovations. I truly didn’t know if I would ever make it out with all that was going on, but I finally departed on Tuesday, Sep 15!!

It felt like the right time for me to leave SF again, for an extended period of time. The city was causing me a lot of anxiety with the noise, wildfire smoke, and a sense of stillness. All this on top of the internal battles I was facing about my life direction. I needed to spend time to reconnect with my inner self, away from other distractions. Having only been here in Utah for a day or so, I already feel myself regaining clarity and control.

I don’t know exactly when I’ll return to SF, and that’s quite exhilarating. I’m taking each day as it comes, enjoying life here in the mountains, with no set plan to adhere to. I did pack all-season gear so I’m fully prepared to brave the winter wherever I end up. As the spiritual side of me would say, “I’ll go where the winds take me.” Onwards to this next adventure!
