The year of changes. 2023 marked the beginning of a major shift in my life – a journey that is still ongoing and one I am navigating through. From being laid off to making the decision to leave tech, from building my own business in a challenging market to pivoting to a new industry, and even starting and leaving a job within three months – my life has been turned upside down. Throughout it all, whether by choice or by circumstance, I grappled with my lifelong question: am I living true to myself? Societal pressures and my upbringing pulled me in one direction, while my dreams and passions pulled me in another. This year, I took risks, challenged myself, embraced discomfort, and learned valuable lessons. While I wish I could say I have it all figured out now, the journey continues in 2024…
