This is the introductory construction class for the Construction Technology major. What we covered in class:

Carpentry – Rough Framing
This course is a deep dive into rough framing – covering methods & materials and primarily offering hands-on practice in the framing of floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, small wooden structures, and full-size tiny homes.
Blueprint Reading
This course teaches the skills for reading a variety of construction plans, details, schedules and specifications. We spent a lot of time in the blueprint room learning how to read a full set of plans (floor plans, elevations, sections, details, etc).
