The year of changes. 2023 was the start of a major shift in my life – one that is still ongoing that I am navigating through. From being laid off<\/a> to making a decision to leave tech, building my own business in one of the roughest markets, pivoting to a new industry, starting and quitting a job within 3 months<\/a> – my life has been turned upside down. Through it all, whether by choice or by circumstance, I was faced with my lifelong question<\/a>: am I living true to myself? Certain societal pressures and my upbringing swayed me in one direction, and my dreams and passions swayed me in the other. This year, I took risks, challenged myself, got uncomfortable<\/a>, and learned some lessons. I wish I could say I have it all figured out now, but the journey continues in 2024…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
